In late 2019, Mission Pacific was engaged by Equity Residential to manage the preparation and completion of improvement plans for a 644-lot single family residential tract in Riverside County. Equity had acquired the property as part of a land banking arrangement with a public homebuilder in 2005. When Mission Pacific was engaged the tentative maps for the project were nearing expiration and getting the final map in “ready to record” condition in an expedited manner was critical to preserving the project’s entitlement.
Mission Pacific was successfully able to complete the improvement plans and obtain all necessary approvals and permits ahead of schedule. In addition, Mission Pacific was instrumental in identifying and solving critical development issues and in value engineering the project throughout process.
As a result, of Mission Pacific’s efforts, Equity Residential was able satisfy the conditions of closing for a public homebuilder and complete the sale of the property in 2020.
